Material and condition, critical tolerances, any finishing or treatment, and your required date. If a dimension is critical, say which one.

What happens next

After you send a drawing

We look at it before we price it. The first question is whether the part suits our equipment and our tolerances, not what we could charge for it.

If it does not suit us, you hear that first, along with what the part actually needs. That answer takes a day and costs nothing.

If it does, we ask about anything missing rather than assuming. Material condition, critical dimensions, finishing operations, and realistic call-off pattern are the usual gaps.

The lead time comes from the schedule, so it accounts for the work already on the floor. It is frequently longer than other quotes you receive and it is a date we intend to hit.
